LOL IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE IT'S ABOUT HOMESCHOOLING

I've been homeschooled for about a year now, and it's working well. I know more than a lot of the people I know.

no wonder you are so open minded

I love school, I'd probably die being home schooled since a large part of it is talking and having fun with kids you would never see otherwise.  I do really enjoy a lot of classes though because most subjects interest me, except English.. grammar and terrible books with questions alongside that are bullstuff.

Regular joe-shmoe "teach your kids 2+2" homeschooling IS a joke.

But some serious private school created home schooling curriculum are serious business. I know a couple friends taking Calvert School home schooling and are being educated at above-public school levels and not bullstuff "2 hour work and have fun the rest of the day" crap.

hurr durr because I was an atheist all my life

It has been determined that Inv3rted is my long lost brother.

no wonder you are so open minded
He isn't open-minded because he still has yet to accept people believing in any religion If he did, as he sometimes claims to be, he wouldn't get so uppity in all those threads about religion or constantly state his beliefs even though we all quite poignantly know already. We get it Inv3rted, you're the cool kid now step off your shoebox, the war is over.

Homeschooling for all of primary school and the first year of secondary is OK, but at the second-fifth or sixth years of secondary school, you need an education from qualified people.

My parents homeschooled me and my brothers due to their experiences in public/private schools, and due to the schools around here being stuffty to begin with.

I always wanted to try a year of public school just to see how it was.

Overall, it is not that bad and I feel accomplished. Though I am finding the free time to be less appealing. :/

It seems like it'd be hard to get into colleges if you were home schooled, also your social skills would be lacking indeed.
