My Iphones plan is currently around the $120 mark, yet I get everything for free; Calls, texts and internet.
I work all the time so the price isn't bad and because I use it a lot I get way more out of it (+$300 C/T/I)

You just have to get the right phone/plan that suits you for it to be good.
