Author Topic: I can understand being homophobic, but...  (Read 1550 times)

This is also known as racism, or loveism.

No, I meant literally. Homo is a prefix for meaning same, or equal. It makes more sense, knowing that, it would be the fear of equality, or two being the same. :P

Which, ironically, it sort of is.

Wait, doesn't the Latin prefix homo mean man?

I don't believe so, friend. I'm pretty positive it means ":same" and I believe also "equal" in situations, but I could be wrong.

No edit:
I believe it could also be used as "man" as well, however. The genus type itself. Once again, I'm not completely sure.

I was in Toronto a few days ago, for the Gumball 3000 Rally, and when we were on our way back we had to catch a train from Toronto to Lakeshore East. We looked up at the departure times, and right below it on the bench were two asian gay guys making out.

And I didn't give a flying rats ass, I just wanted to get home, my feet were killing me. Idiotic homophobics need to get outside, and subtile homophobics i don't care about

And that's nice, dear. Did you catch your train? :o

I would rather see two gay guys kiss than two fat greasy people

So I turned to our good friend Google. In all of the Latin/Greek root dictionaries, I couldn't find a definition that stated homo meant equal or same. In all the definitions I came across, homo meant man. I know it must also mean same though, because homoloveual can also refer to a woman who likes the same love. So the definition of "man" wouldn't work, but "same" would. So I believe we are both right.

By indulging themselves with calorie and fat saturated foods on a daily basis. Yes, that accounts for both the fat part, and the greasy part.

I'm not homophobic. But if I'm in a room full of homo's and one of them flirts with me, I'm loving going to punch him. And if it doesn't happen ,when I get out, I'll tell my frineds how gay it was and re-enact the voices
