Spock, you can't start off a clan being hard ass to get into unless you already have a small group of professionals starting it, which I have to say we didn't.

First impressions are key. If you think getting people to join a new clan that's difficult to get into but looks promising, try getting people who are highly skilled to join a clan filled with people who can't meet their standard.

Sure, they might join. But they won't be active.

not to mention, you'll eventually have to kick everybody who can't keep up with the clan's standard. If the clan's standard ever even raises, that is.

Another thing to watch out for are people who join every clan they possibly can. I know some, I was one before I made my own clan.

They'll most likely be a notable player with great skills, but you need to enforce fairly strict activity rules (less when it's not summer).

one of the biggest mistakes I made with cmen was that I didn't enforce activity very well, and some people who joined my clan were never seen again after joining.




if there's anything I hate the most about clans, it's that most "successful" clans really just hoard in a stuff ton of members who never make anything. Try to stay under 20 members, especially if you don't have any co-leaders.

Hey everyone. I decided to make an event app for this clan. I used both VCE and Bot events as instructed in the OP. Basically I took an old WIP clan hq that i had started, and created a Bot which gives the player a tour of the HQ. I used a stuff-load of onbotspawn input events, and setbotmovement outputs.

Using the Tour Bot:
The tour bot can be found directly right of the entrance. Be sure to hit the RESPAWN button before starting the tour! To begin, click the bot, and reply to his question with a simple: yes
Follwed by an additional click.
He will then start leading you through the Hq, but remember to give him space while he is walking, or it my screw up his path. Also remember not to click the bot more then once after begining the tour.


Additional Info:
It can be a bit glitchy at times. The bot may start spinning on circles without moving. This will fix itself in about 5 seconds so just wait it out.

Also if the bot starts walking as soon as you hit the respawn button, simply click it again (or as many times as needed) until it stays put.
