Actually we are. We're more complex. Unlike animals, we have centers in our brain designed specifically for morality, and other complex emotions and thought. Saying we aren't worth more is like saying a fully upgraded PC (or next-gen console) is worth the same as a Playstation 1. I'm not saying they don't feel or think, I'm saying that don't things such as contemplate actions.

Anyway, wanting to stop animals from being skinned for clothes is a realistic and reasonable goal. But wanting to make everyone in the world a tofu eating, animal loving friend is another story.\
