I wouldn't use the graphics card that you installed. There will be no native driver support on the disc so everything be turned down a stuff ton.
As I said, I would take it out and use the On-board graphics until you get a real OS. I would also like to re-mention drivers as you won't be able install them onto a disc that you're booting off of.
You can, however, check that it's working by entering the Bios. I would then proceed to un-installation.
