Author Topic: Freezing when playing (Includes other games)  (Read 1139 times)

Problem I'm having when playing Blockland, and other games as well.
When I play Blockland, setup a server, or join one, either way, I still freeze. And dont go "Its Spam N00b HURRDURR"
When it freezes, it FREEZES, everything, when it does, I cant open anything else, or do anything to anything else on anything of this computer.
My dad Factory reset our computer, so it 'sound' Work. But it still freezes. Before we F reset our computer, If I played Garry's Mod it would still freeze the same way. So pretty much any 3D game, it'l freeze.
I'm really thinking its an add-on I downloaded. Due to one thing, People on this game thinks its funny to completely screw up someone elses computer with a gay broken add-on. So before I go and just start 'ABSOLUTELY' Clean on Blockland (Except for Saves/Avatar =P ) I want to know if anyone has/had the same problem, please post. For other people who know whats the problem, Post here.

History of what my Dad did so far:
Reset our Computer, Updated to Service Pack 2, (Windows Vista) Updated NVIDIA and set things on that for here via their settings. He says to Email Blockland, Which I doubt Ill get a reply. So posting helps.

Thanks guys.

Shout Out: Ephialtes, Mind locking your Hell Hounds, and help me?

I doubt one addon did this.

I doubt one addon did this.

Well I just Factory reset the computer, and I got all the Vehicles and Weapons from a CD I burned, and put that on, and it started. Any add-on that was on the CD must have the virus. There is no way I can get it freezing again after I just F reset it..

Off topic: I thought there would be a ton of Posts.. Thanks for helping?

It wouldn't be an add-on.

Clean all the dust in your computer.

It wouldn't be an add-on.

Clean all the dust in your computer.

Dust? Real dust? Or is that a term for something?

Real dust.

I wouldnt see this the case, sense it ONLY Freezes on Games. But Ill go for it.

The only answer to this is a magic place called Walmart...
You probably want to sell your current dinosaur and get a brand new *bum bum bum* Desktop!

Happy shopping! =)
(I don't mean this offensively but its true)

Yeah, It doesnt. Its a 2008 (I beleive) Acer Destop Flat back (Screen) I doubt thats the problem. And my Old White Dell Dino works better then this one, and that doesn't even have Windows Vista.

Real dust.

I tried, and it still freezes.. I almost thought it worked when it didn't freeze for the first minute.

I'm going based on experiences, and my oldest sister claimed that cleaning the inside of her computer solved the complete freezing problems.

Hmm.. Anymore Ideas? Im about to start fresh with Blockland, and see if that would work.. But before I send my self to 'Download EVERYTHING Back' Anything?
