I went and separated my CPU and motherboard, and for a few extra bucks, they are much better. I then changed the ram to what visage suggested. I still have a few bucks then to put into other things. Suggestions/changes?

This graphics card is quite a bit cheaper, while still in a good range for speed.  It has a smaller bit size, but twice as much memory, and has GDDR2, which is supposedly better than DDR3

Even if you don't go for the above graphics card, I would personally go for this ram.  Its basically the same thing, for about $15 cheaper (You would have to get two of them though).

That card is the worst one shown so far, 1 gig GDDR2 doesn't beat the GDDR5 on most of the cards posted.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about? GDDR is not the same as DDR. The 9500GT is bad along with the ram you linked. Do research before posting.

The 4850 is actually slightly worse than the GTS 250, but we're talking 1 to 2 fps here and there.  Since they're so close in performance in price, you should just pick whichever brand tickles your fancy.

I don't know who told you that, but 550w is plenty for your rig.
