ehh... good luck. that roof is intimidating
It's mocking me.

Good luck, this won't be easy, but if someone can make the Empire State Building, I'm pretty sure someone can make this if their willing to spend the time and effort.

Didn't somebody make the Twin Towers in Gallery? Or was that the Empire State Building as well?

But yes, good luck. Hope you won't be the 6th person to fail. But yes that roof must be hard to build O_O

Both

Note that the Empire State Building and the Twin Towers are both large vertical objects, that essentially go straight up.
This has curves that meet other curves and different angles, as well as glass at angles and sections to connect to roads and a lot more intricate architecture than two skyscrapers.

This is in a whole other league of things being re-constructed in Blockland.

I'd like to have a go, if I had even the slightest concept of where to start, but unfortuantely I don't, and I wouldn't want to start and then either; never return or have to give up, since I don't want to be rude about it.
But have a bloody good go at it, it'd be brilliant if and when it's done.

I've maded them both myself ;). Look at the pic of my profile. Of course the roof of this airport will be hard as hell.

The Empire State building has different forms and you have to calculate the sides to be perfect, so it's not as easy as you think. And also the spire at the top was hard to make and the 102th floor observation deck is a round structure. And now i'm making an even harder skyscraper, the Chrysler building.

Why pick what has to be just about the hardest terminal building in America to build with blocks? There has to be 50 other airports that you could build that would look great and be a crap load easier than that roof.

2 words: holy crap...
this will be hard!
FTW: Amateurs don't try this on your blockland.

I worked with Bones4 on the Titanic, but even then, she had thorough plans because she is such a popular and well known ship.

However, there ARE 3D models of this building in things like Google Sketchup, which could be of a LOT of help.

Because it has that spectacular roof shape, and because it appears in GTA IV, and therefore gives builders multiple angles if needed.

I'd say anyone who spent the time to actually build this is probbaly not going to give it to you for your build. Good luck.
