Wow haha, I've been playing the retail version since before it was released and I never noticed this. I haven't seen anyone else mention it either.

A little history, my dad used to play this all the time in the car when I was younger, this song brings back memories.

You missed it, but many of us have noticed this over the years. It's just so trivial we forget. You might have even forgotten, or it was so trivial you never heard of it and never had time to notice. But I clearly remember at least a few others knowing this.
