ITT: XRobo continues to be butthurt over people having nice phones.

Oh, how many millions of people use touchscreens daily? Surely if there were a problem, it wouldn't be so popular and widely accepted.

I'm getting a new blackberry-like windows phone that's pretty cheap. Anyhow, touchscreens suck. But this samsung would be a great choice since you can type easier.

Swype, bro.

'Nuff said.

Ew, service provider logo on phone.

forget es.

That commercial aired.

I'm getting THIS

You'll see what I mean

Really? Wow. Such hypocrisy....

I'm not saying you should downgrade, now that you spent all that money.

I'm saying that usually all smartphones are overpriced and overhyped.

With the exception of the IPhone/Itouch, those are quite good deals and they have apps/games and a lot of usefull tools.

Also, since when do I use an iphone? Do you even know what swype is? Did you even bother to google it?

About the screen thing. And the buttons thing.

Swype is really an amazing keyboard. Plus, I think the non-touchscreen Windows Mobile smartphones really, really suck.

Honestly, if you're going to get a WM-non touchscreen phone, get a Blackberry.

It's about what you want/need.

I want buttons and power.
You want touchscreen and power.

Same thing.

In that case, the latter part of my post is still relevant. I had one of these:

...and I still type faster with swype than I ever could with that.

You started this by spewing anti-touchscreen friendry. Don't play it off like you didn't.

Herp derp, typing speed isn't what I want.

It's easier for me to touch actual buttons than just a flat screen.

No, I want more power.
Standard WM (non-touchscreen) phones are usually less powerful (have a lower-clocked processor, less RAM and longer delay between switching to programs). From what I've seen with the HTC S740, a non-touchscreen WM phone, when you went to open an app, it took much longer than it should have (about 8-10 seconds).

So yeah, they're not the same thing. Touchscreen WM phones are more powerful than non-touchscreen phones. Plus, there's far less applications for non-touchscreen WM phones, since they run a different version of WM that the touchscreen phones do.

I know about Windows Mobile, and I know what I'm talking about.

I can't pay 500 dollars on a god damn mobile phone.

Over here it has the best power/price ratio.

If his experience is anything like my HTC Excalibur, then lol and have fun.

Also, you've apparently forgotten that we told you how much our phones were.

$160 is what came out of my pocket.

It feels more comfortable to me. Jesus christ can't you get that trough your thick skull?
