Kind of a spinoff to Ladios' threads of a similar name, but this story is just too good (pathetic) to not tell people about.
It's Friday, on the weekend I don't work, so naturally it's Karaoke night, which I love. And I'm doing fine, chilling with my friend the Juicy Melon and this girl approaches me. Attractive, I'd give her a 7. And just starts talking to me and asking about me and all that fun get to know you questions. We talk about interests, hobbies, things that we enjoy doing and finally she asks me if I sing at these things. I told her that I love to, it's my stress relief. So she's skeptical that I'm any good so I go up and sing Paralyzer by Finger Eleven which kept her talking to me for a little longer. Slightly impressed and all, she asks to do some duo songs with me in which I pick some out and we sing. We dance, we schmooze, and the whole time, I'm thinking "Man I'm really on my game tonight, I might get a number if I keep it up."
This is where the night goes down hill. As she's off in the bathroom, another friend who frequents the bar approaches me and asks, "Do you realize, she's a hooker?" Immediately in my head I thought, "forget, should have known better." So I spent the rest of my time there being a complete richard to her and so she tries to punish me by talking to and hitting on other guys, including my friend. Amusing little mynx that she was, she didn't realize I let my friend in on it and we both ended up burning her so bad that she was crying. Then, we left the bar and considered it a lesson learned.
Just when I thought I worked hard enough on talking to women, now I'll never know how well I'd do if it was any normal girl. Back to the drawing board and those feelings of rejection and insecurity return. But I shouldn't feel this way as I was the one who rejected her which is a surprise because usually I'm an ass-kissing yes-man to women I find attractive. So bonus for standing up for myself.
Discuss women who led you for a ride. (they don't have to be hookers.)
