Author Topic: Writing a Song!  (Read 1516 times)

So I decided to write a song, and maybe some day have a band to accompany me with said song, but thats for a later time. Anyways here's what I have:

Chorus:
Quote
The vice is
The bane is
Killing me, saving me

All I wanted is
For my voice to be
Known

Closed minded
Short sighted
Ears are full, mouth is full

All I wanted is
For my voice to be
Known
The recording is of me playing it on a stuffty keyboard. Don't worry, I wrote it on my real piano on the other side of the house. :p

I can see if I can come up with something, need some practice seeing I might be attempting to make my own songs with my guitar one day  :cookieMonster:

Rhythm of the chorus.

Also sorry, I made a mistake. The last 2 half notes should just be a dotted half note too.

I like Loser's better than the one in the OP.

It's the same thing. :cookieMonster:

How about you ask your girlfriend for some help. You said she blew you, like 10 times right?

Why don't you go be productive and kill yourself.
If you aren't going to help then go stuff post in drama

Nice song, I suppose. Lyrics these days have changed so much. They used to be [mostly] all be about accepting what the world is, finding the good in it, Love, appreciation, thanks, etc. Now they are all about the things people don't like or are depressed about. It went from inner expression from external aggression. :o

Because listening to depressing songs always makes you happy.  :cookieMonster:

Then again, When The Saints go Marching In is a lovely song.....about the end of the world. :o

I wish I knew what you were talking about Mage. Maybe you haven't explored music lately.

No you. :c

Yeah, I see songs basically about everything nowadays.
