Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer
Read that great book.
I think I'm going to go with Madmitten and Sirrus for now will probably get a few of the other ones later.

Great book.

itt: good books (except mine, obviously) if you read at a fifth grade level.

Which is funny, since you obviously read the manuals for your computer parts at a fifth grade level.  I mean seriously, you made 5+ threads.  My 10 year old nephew can figure out how to plug most of the stuff in based on the pictures.

Eragon series and Percy Jackson books are pretty good IMO.
I found the writing style in Eragon somewhat annoying. Mainly the combat descriptions.

I recommend the core Dragonlance novels. Very good read.

They consist of:
The Chronicles Trilogy:
Dragons of Autumn Twilight
Dragons of Winter Night
Dragons of Spring Dawning

The Second Generation:
The Second Generation
Dragons of Summer Flame

The Lost Chronicles Trilogy:
Dragons of the Dwarven Depths
Dragons of the Highlord Skies
Dragons of the Hourglass Mage

There have been 190 books written based on the Dragonlance world since the first book.
