On the Origin of Species by Charles Darwin. By the way, it's only good if you read one of the first editions so make sure to spend the extra $10,000 for the first edition.

The Geeks' Guide to World Domination by Garth Sundem is a good read. It doesn't have a storyline (since it's pretty much a hand guide), but it has some interesting sections.
