if you can get something else instead of it.... do that. Ipad is kinda useless especially for kids really cant play any decent games or do a whole lot but internet and word crap.

I would just go for an iPad nano, so much better.  And, they're smaller and you can listen to music on the go, all while enjoying the same apps.
There's even an iPad nano phone!
