Author Topic: How to completely wipe out Dell Quickset?  (Read 1035 times)

Dell Quickset is the most annoying and useless tool I've ever seen, it completely destroys the purpose of F keys. Is there any way to disable it completely? Because I've already disabled its start-up and uninstalled it, but for some reason it still works.

End the process in the task manager if it comes up.
Follow the process back to its folders.
Delete all the folders associated with the program.
Back up your registry.
Root around in your registry and delete registry files associated with the progrum.
Restore your registry from the back-up you made if you forget up

That'd be my guess.

Done all the registry things, the volume buttons are wiped out already. Screen-Switcher(F1), Wireless Toggle(F2), Battery Window(F3), Decrease Brightness(F4), and Increase Brightness(F5) are the only ones left.

You only have one "F" key.
