Beyond Patience.
65 miles of coastline hit with oil.
The brown pelican put back on the endangered species list two weeks after it was taken off.
The Deepwater Horizon spills the equivalent of the entire Exxon Valdez spill every four days.
Millions of barrels of oil spilled.
And they're not even telling us the truth.
No-one knows how to fix it and yet we drill that deep.

And that's not even half of it.

The chemical dispersants they're using contain propylene glycol and 2-butoxyethanol. Gee, that sure sounds like something we want to put in the water. 25,000 barrels of oil are leaking every day. And Hayward says, after he took a trip down to a beach in Louisiana, "This was not something I wanted to see. There is much anger in the community and we share that anger. We will clean up every drop of oil and restore the area to normality."
My ass. You don't give a flying stuff about what's happened, and is still happening. You're not angry, you're as content as can be. When the EPA said, "Stop using the chemical dispersants," you gave 'em the finger because you're THAT, loving, HUGE. Here's an idea, let's shove YOU into that blowout preventer and THEN you can say you're pissed.

Rot in hell you heartless bastards.

loving bimbo.

Put [/vent] at the end

But yeah, this is ridiculous. They need to get of their asses and really do something

Also, there is 6 pounds of plastic for every pound of plankton in this one part of the pacific

Do you have any idea how terrible that is for ocean life?

Also, Propylene Glycol And 2-butoxyethanol are both organic. Which means they break down.

1. The idiots have said the same thing about the oil. "It's organic, it'll break down." Yeah, sure, in about ten years. Meanwhile countless organisms are having their lives destroyed.
2. Besides, they're using the dispersants for bullstuff purposes; they want to make the spill look less worse on satellite imagery.

1. Wasn't talking about oil.

2. Okay.

We need hay. NOW.
That isn't going to work. There are significant differences between smallscale and largescale scientific tests.

That's why a little gasoline will just burn, but a lot will explode.

Unfortunately, they've already tried hay. It didn't work, just like everything else they've tried. They only have two more options: the "top-kill" method, and the relief well. The top-kill isn't guaranteed to work and the relief well, even though it will work, will not be finished until August. Just imagine what the coastline will look like by then. The spill is already larger than the state of Delaware.

Burn the oil, create the sea of fire!

Doing that makes it worse?
