Well balls. I lost my back flip, and I needed another side phone.
I was really considering the hd2 because my bro and my dad has it, and it's pretty cool. But I was kinda hoping for a phone with a keyboard.
So the decision is up to you! HTC OR HD2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I already have a nexus, but like I said I need a side phone.

What are the HTC and HD2? :o

Answer: Don't lose stuff.

You already have a loving google nexus one.

The Touch Pro2 features an 800x480 screen and a full QWERTY keyboard. However, it has a much slower processor and less RAM than the HD2 and doesn't feature the nice Sense UI (that you CAN get working by flashing a third party ROM onto the phone).

The HD2 features an 800x480 screen as well, but no QWERTY keyboard. This phone does, however, have a multitouch screen. It features a 1 GHz Processor and somewhere around 512 MB of RAM. It comes preloaded with Sense UI.

Honestly, I'm not taking sides, and if I were you, I'd either use that Google Nexus One or give it to me, damn you. Also, for the record, I have the original Touch Pro, not the Touch Pro2.

Oh, one more thing, you can even dual-boot Ubuntu Linux/Windows Mobile on the Touch Pro2. You can even dual-boot Android and Windows Mobile. You can't do this (yet) on the HD2.

Htc touch pro.

Qwerty>touchscreen

Smartphones...

I'm getting a Pocket PC with Windows Mobile 6.5 :D.

Htc touch pro.

Qwerty>touchscreen

Swype (Comes with HD2) > qwerty

Swype on HD2. Skip to 1:17ish

I enjoy my phone even coming from a physical keyboard.

I hate swype. I don't even see how it's faster than tapping, I used an app for iPhone that let you type like that a long time ago and it sucks. It messes up, and the only difference is that you don't lift your finger and put it back down again. If you're a normal person, that shouldn't take long.

You sound biased. Also, "an app that lets you type like that"...  was it swype or not?

I dunno bro, the world's fastest text was using swype. It's faster for me as well.

Again, if you like physical keyboards, and a better experience with mobile gaming, go with the HTC touch pro.

If you want fast typing and whoring at school, get a HD2.

Theirs an app for swype on my nexus, and since android is getting 2.2 froyo, pretty soon, I might not need to buy another, but I will keep trying in the mean while, after I try out swype.
One of the main reasons, I keep a side phone, is because, I'm the kind of person that would get bored of one thing, and switch, so I switch the sim card, and my problem is solved. And since I've had an android for, the past 4 years...
