Okay my laptop just exploded when I tried to turn it on(debris and forgettons of heat and stuff came out of where the fan should be). The hard drive seems fine so I can somehow salvage the sasve from it.

Anyway it turned out a capacitor broke when it overheated and we just welded it back on, the debris was broken plastic from the flying capacitor. It works now.
