Link in a Welcome Message?

This is kind of a stupid question, but..
Is there any way to put a link in a welcome message?
I paste it in there, and it doesn't work.
I remove http:// on it, doesn't work.
I add <a:[link]>, doesn't work.
So, any way to make it work? :3

You need to add a end and text after <a:LINK> Example <a:URL WITHOUT http://>TEXT</a>
