LINUX
Harddrive's get fragmented just by moving files, It doesn't matter what OS you have.
And commercial software developers are moving toward developing for both Mac and PC. For example, EA and Valve.
You mean, 'only EA and Valve.'Most modern gaming engines need some heavy reworking to work on OSX.
But it's still not a problem since Macs can run windows without emulation.
OSX isn't bad in and of itself (although it has piss-poor hardware support and low customizability); it's Apple's attitude towards consumers. They overcharge for hardware and expect people to lap it up because of the brand name. It's like designer clothing: equivalent to something a third of its price but costs more because of its name. That being said, people buy Apple's computers in droves. Says something about the average intelligence of consumers.
Apple has the best customer support.
If you're a god damn handicap, of course you will get viruses.A PC is like a motorbike, hard to master and fast.A mac is like a tricycle, slow but easy for non-tech-savy people.
I bought a Mac because I wanted a user experience that doesn't suck. And guess what, I never had needed to call customer support. And when I had a problem with my old iBook a long time ago, it was a hardware defect, so they replaced it for free.
