The hardware isn't really bad, it's just bad for it's price. And you know the software is optimized for that hardware. And the extra price gets made up with a better user experience, and better customer support.

about 12th of the power of mine.
costs about just as much.

if you dont care for gaming.
then get a smartphone, they can do everything a mac can anyways.
