I can't get the gui to work for his mining mod.
Its in the zip folder but I can't open it or use it in-game.

Any ideas why?

Just do what else everybody does when it does not work. re-Download the add-on.

This does not work for every single add-on if you haven't noticed...

I couldn't download it either, removing RTB fixes this, but I think its something with the server.

If you remove RTB you don't get the GUI BTW.
