Author Topic: Runtime Crashes  (Read 585 times)

My Blockland keeps crashing for dumb reasons giving me a runtime error and saying it needs to terminate and stuff like that. I have crashed 4 times right at the end of loading somebody elses level and once looking through the mods in mod manager for RTB. I crashed twice in my own server also. Once because I pressed events for a brick and another for painting a brick. Is it Blockland or my computer or something. The only problem I think it might be is the connection type I put in at the beggining. I put cable when I really have a Cricket Broadban Connection cause I don't know what else to put. Please Help

I forgot to add that my Device is UM185C Modem Which I cant figure out what to put as the connection type for that

-try disabling all addons
-if that doesnt work, reinstall blockland
-update drivers
-if it still doesnt work, that could mean that you have big problems with your operating system. runtime errors often mean corrupted files or viruses. This will check for corrupted windows system files:
     -go to start>all programs>accesories>system tools
-right click on command prompt and select run as administrator
-once in command prompt, type "sfc -SCANNOW" without parentheses

Thanks I try this. Most of the add ons I have are off RTB but some where from the forums here, and I didn't seem to have any problems before downloading add ons.

Also If your running a VM it will have runtime errors

I still need to know what kind of network type to put that would be best for my Cricket Broadband Connection. All I found on the box of the thing was that it is a UM185C Modem which I have know Idea what to put for the connection type with that.

Also, how do I know if my Drivers are already updated right and how do I update them

Whats VM?

Virtual machine

And the drivers for windows just do a windows update for things like Graphics cards and Sound cards go to the Manufacture site and get the updates. Same for your mother board if you have a built pc not a Bought. If its like a dell or what ever go to there site to get the driver
