Author Topic: Macro Trader  (Read 8769 times)

Hi Everyone,

I'm making this thread for people to swap macros. There are loads of macros that are useful and fun, I've seen some great ones around.

Instructions For Macro Swapping:
  • Record your macro (there are instructions on this elsewhere)
  • Save your macro (use the macro saver mod: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=49278)
  • Quit Blockland and find your macro (you can find it by going to your Blockland folder then /config/client/macros)
  • Upload it to this thread (it should only be a very small .txt file)

I don't intend to put every macro here on this first post, however I may show any exceptional macros I see.

Hope this works!

I have 3 macros here, a very useful 32x32 Plain House, a cool 8-bit Mario pixel art and a fun quick build cage.

As for clarification, macros are found on the same place on a Windows computer.
Where you find something inside the Blockland folder will never change no matter what OS you use.

A couch that's pretty well incompatible with any colorset.
Just spray it however you like.
An end table to go with the couch, which you'll probably also have to spray.
Oh and a dog house without the 4 print bricks on the door. (Used too many other kinds of bricks)

To make couch: Make your ghost brick as 1x1 round, and don't rotate it. It builds from the front (your left) corner, to the back (your right) corner.
To make end table: As above, except the 1x1 round is the 3rd brick.
To make dog house: Set whatever is the biggest plate in the list as your ghost brick. Rotate CW (num 9 on numpad keyboards), and start. Open brick menu for 4 print bricks to put in the doorway, and use this for the name of your 'pet'.

This topic seems interesting.

Cool idea, I've got some macros but they're mine mine mine.

including cookiemonster, which I did by hand by looking at a zoomed in cookie monster emote. Img2brick is losers.

I think the only macro I had was a Solar Panel and a national socialist Flag.

Don't even have macro saver.

Although i cant think of any to put up, ill share some tips instead;
  • Before saving, find out the dimensions of the finished macro, then save it as (x)x(y)x(z) (Name). This makes it alot easier to make sure you have enough room, before using.
  • Dont name them anything stupid, like "Dog" or "lol", unless it is a 'dog' or a 'lol' of some sort. This will help you find them later to use.
  • While placing a macro, you can move about, and look around. But you must face in the same direction rounded to 90o. So if your facing north, as long as you face less that 45o either side of north, then the macro wont mess up.

Thanks for the macros Chrono, I like the couch and end table :)

I'm uploading two more macros here as you can only have 4 attachments per post and it seems a bit pointless to upload to MediaFire with a 4KB file...

I have two simple but effective palm trees that are both built on the 2x2 round and are about 6 bricks tall.

Instant fortwar base.
Place the 16x16 baseplate where you want it.

wish i was at my pc i got huge amount of macros

Maybe everyone could add a picture of what their macros look like?
