Author Topic: My computer is having video card problems.  (Read 2947 times)

Not detecting my video card.
This only happed one other time when i reinstalled my OS(win 7 64-bit).
My screen would be on for a few minutes then turn off, We fixed it by having two monitors plugged, one into the video card and one into the motherboard(to say yes to the installation), it detected the video card and we installed the drivers.

Now this morning when i started up my computer i noticed my monitor was not on (The power light was on but nothing was displayed). Not thinking anything of it i restart my computer, nothing. Finally i remember what happed when i reinstalled my OS but it was different instead of a few minutes it would't turn on at all. Now i'm trying the duel monitor thing and i still get nothing, so i go and take a peek inside. The video driver appears to be plugged in and is not damaged. I already tried installing drivers but it says it cannot because i don't have that video driver.

I have no idea what's going on, can one of you help?

Edit: Its not a cord problem, maybe its the adapter Still not a cord problem, the adapter works maybe its a computer/graphics card problem
