I'd also like to point out that rebelling against your parents can be a good thing as when I was several years younger, my mom hated Southpark and wouldn't let me or my sister watch it.

The sufferance is that I'm not an idiot. If you were being completely serious about the word "pie" offending you, I wouldn't use it around you.

A good example would be the word "douche". While I don't use it often, I don't really have a problem using in certain cases around certain people.

The words I mainly have a problem with are the ones most people dislike, mainly all being 4-letters in length. I have a larger vocabulary than that.

Yes because I choose to be different and choose to actually think for myself rather then ALWAYS listen to imperfect humans like myself, but moving on...

On topic: Eh, if you want to do any of those things, then go for it. As for the girl issue, I still say go for it. There are numbers of ways to go about it, I don't fully agree with the sneaking behind your mom's back... Vertical did make a good point but at the same time you can't just let your mom control every aspect of your life.

If your mom is reasonable (which given how you described her reaction to your intentionally trying to fail, I doubt it) then try to convince her to let you give it a shot. Though if she is stubborn, then it will backfire and ruin your chances even more... kind of a lose lose situation.
