Ah, fort wars, the fun of being able to assemble your own fortress, prime your own arsenal, conceive teams and groups, and withstand against your enemies. What do you think of these kind of servers?
Well if Fort Wars nowadays actually did that, it would be a 10/10. Instead, it's a buncha juiced up n00bs + unbalanced rifles, too many emitters and unnecessary events.

I didn't like Fort Wars that much because the fighters that always wanted to fight and not build usually just placed down a brick and spawned a weapon and killed builders. For that, I really don't like it too much.
Spending ages building pretty walls and doors gets you killed.
Locking yourself into a tower leads to being sniped out and having it either taken over or inaccessible to everyone.
Unfortunately the only "objective" most fortwars have is points from kills - the fastest way to get them is to spawn the server's most overpowered weapon and shoot everyone. (or event it to fire a billion homing rockets at everyone who isn't you)

I find making a bunch of teams and having the option for players to join one works better than having everyone on their own.

I learned that a while ago, on Jirue's server, I was always getting killed or he would server reset and I would lose my build. Now on fortwars, I build a 16x16 box with weapons inside and a vehicle spawn on top.

Feces are the butt of all yours jokes, aren't they?
Oh the irony

i host fort wars. and generally i get bored pretty fast with the amount of sheer idiots. but it can be fun. dread hosts the best fort wars because he usually has the good part of the community in it.

I make my fort inside a pile of poo!

:D

I'll bet he's planning on making a giant Blockland scat-special interest.
