Author Topic: Weapon Model shows up in 1st person but not in 3rd person  (Read 810 times)

Well, it is what it is. I made a model using blender, and it shows up in 1st person mode but not in 3rd person. Also when i get too far away from a brick that it is on it disappears. Also my game lags like F--- with it in first person. Help????(please?) It worked before (i could see it in a previous export) but some geometry was missing and there was no color, thats why i changed it. When i did it disappears in 3rd person D: help

EDIT: Lag fixed, it was Hi-poly >_> i had to redo the mesh. Still invisible in 3rd person, not 1st.

EDIT: Please note that I made this model the exact same way as i did all my others and never had any issues such as this show up.

EDIT EDIT: I just remembered: It Tried to set up the Heirarchy of the model automatically amnd made a LOS Collision Empty; i deleted it, but im not sure that it was supposed to do that; should i just redo thewhole thing? (I imported a 3ds model, so it wouldnt be an issue exept for the mounts.)

All you need are 2 shapes for a weapon.

Detail32 and Shape.

Mesh and all bones > Detail32 > Shape

Done.

> Means parented to.

No Col0 or Col is needed for weapons. Only vehicles. No collision box.

Thanks for trying to help,but that wasnt the problem. I fixed it tho :D
