I will be developing a list a words day by day. I will support a definition, and proper use of the word.

My challenge to you is to use at least one new word in everyday life.

Aperture

(Noun) - An opening, hole, slit or crack.

(Noun) - A usually adjustable opening in an optical instrument, such as a camera or telescope, that limits the amount of light passing through a lens or onto a mirror.

I hear it used as the above a lot more than as a crack or slit...


Agammaglobulinemia

(Noun) - A rare immunological disorder characterized by the virtual absence of gamma globulin in the blood and consequent susceptibility to infection.

There's always more than one use. Aperture mostly means "gap" or "hole"
