Author Topic: Why is there always random "bloches" when I save a ms paint pic? (Read 1131 times)

Last night I was making a complicated picture on MS paint on my dads computer. Then my dad made me get off cause he was going to bed so I saved the picture. But when I tried opening it up to work on it again there were weird dots all over around the lines and stuff. I can probably fix it by painting over them but I wanna know if I can prevent this from happening. Btw, sorry I posted this here I just couldn't find anything on google.

I dunno, the one that comes with Vista... I can't use the Windows 7 paint good so I go on my dads computer cause he has Vista and it has the ms paint I used when I had XP. I just looked at the about paint and it says Version 6.0 (build 6001: Service Pack 1)

save in .png instead of .jpg, problem solved

But that doesn't fix that the picture is already screwed up XI.

@Deriboy- I never got used to using any other painting programs except ms paint. I'm used to making lines that you can't accidentally move after making them.

I just used the eraser to get rid of the dots. If you right click on a color the eraser will color that color not white. ^_^

Saving as JPEG when making virtual art compresses the image and therefore you get the weird artifacts.

Save as bmp or png next time.

Ok thanks guys. I really didn't want to lose this picture its my first picture I made myself that I actually worked hard on..... wait. Uh its the first picture I made my self that I went into alot of detail with. Blood dripping horns . :D I made a horn that is dripping/covered in blood cause it was supposed to look like it torn out of the persons skin. Yes I'm making a picture of a person. Anime cartoon fake whatever you wanna call it.
