LAN servers for demo

hey my friend has been wondering if ppl who have demo can join LAN servers and my friend they cannot cause the creator of map has to much "bricks" and so and ive been looking for the answer can any1 tell the right answer? and i know demo ppl cannot host servers so im just asking if demo ppl can join LAN  servers dang wtf i typing fast ahhhhhhhhhjhjhhhhhhhhhhhhh sry misspelled =(

You can't host in demo at all regardless of LAN or internet, but if someone who owns the game hosts a LAN server than anyone can join even as a demo user.
