Author Topic: Staying up all night how do you do it?  (Read 8386 times)

I'm probably going to fall asleep within 15 minutes to sleep all day and stay up all night again. c:

The best way I stay up when I need to is to keep moving around. When I feel tired, I start to jog or do some other form of exercise and it keeps my brain active. Energy drinks are for lazy sissies.

Play BL, or Gmod, it works for me.

I once drank Red Bull when I was tired, was more tired after I drank it.

I can not sleep with a TV on, unless I'm absolutely desperate for sleep.
That, or I have a laptop on with me, or even just browsing the web on another device (iPod, PSP, etc...) which tends to keep my with something to do for a few hours.

Once you get older, you'll find it's easier to do, wether because you literally have to stay away awake because you have no time to sleep, or because you just feel like staying up. Oddly enough, with the ability to stay awake for longer, you'll also gain the ability to sleep for stupidly long times that you actually don't need. Like, going to sleep at midnight and waking up at 3pm or longer.

Thats strange, its easier for me to fall asleep with my TV on, and music playing from my pc, I can fall asleep in pitch black but its not as easy.
To stay up all night, get Sleep Insomnia like me, i stay up for weeks at a time without trying.

Age:     10

Haha good luck :P

comes easier with age.

no wonder, I couldn't stay up till 2 without sleeping...  :cookieMonster:

Play some serious StarCraft.

How do you NOT stay up all night when you're trying to?

I just build with ma legos :3

Bags of jelly beans, cans of cream soda, and video games.
Three essential thing to staying up all night.
Get'em now friend.

Lots of sugar

Do wat my friend did pure orange squash with added sugar!!!

I wouldn't recommend sugar or caffeine, makes you crash mid-night.
I'd recommend (if you are off from school) messing with your sleep schedule so you can stay up all night. I've figured out a way to sleep 2 hours and still feel rested, but it takes awhile to get into it.
Experiment with different sleep schedules to find one you like.

The candy crap doesn't really work. Listening to music that is upbeat helps you stay awake as well as focus. I usually listen to some nice House music as well as other things. Find something to do that will keep you interested, it helps a lot. Also, try to get some rest before hand. Taking a nap or sleeping for more than 8 hours the night before helps too.

I stayed up all night with a toothache once, I just kept drinking water, going to the toilet and drinking more water.
