Atheism means you believe there is no god. That's the problem, most people don't know that.

Atheism is the belief that there is no higher power, agnostic is the belief that there could be a higher power, but you refuse to join a certain religion and/or you believe all religions are wrong. I am an agnostic because I admit there could be some sort of higher power, but I do not believe in any of the current religions.
