I highly doubt it's clocked at even half this speed.

Overclock the new i7 to 6.6Ghz. Then split the cores like it appears they did.

24 cores at 6.6Ghz.

Oh, is the i3 already four logical cores? I thought they split two physical into four logical in the overclocking process.

So I figured if they did this with an i7 you'd get 24.

I think this i3 is just two cores with hyperthreading, so four logical cores.

So I assume it wouldn't be any different with the 980x. Six cores, twelve threads.
