Author Topic: Daft Punk Logo Pixel Art  (Read 5019 times)

This was made by hand, not an image to brick mod, and took about two and a half hours to complete.

First, I found the logo on google. It comes up as the third picture result for me.

Then, I took it into Paint.NET and broke it down into a sharp image with no faded edges.

I changed it red so I could see the pixel grid. It helps with accuracy.

Finally, after two and a half hours of hard work and a pain in my wrist from pointing at the screen counting the pixels, the finished product:

Size in comparison to me laying next to it.

The build in total is 4123 bricks. I tried to use some 2x2prints in spots to lower the count.

You may rate x/10 if you like. Again, there was no macro or image to brick mod used.

Thank you for reading!

Here is the save for those who wanted it:

Very nice, could use a bit of color though.  8.5/10

The "faded edge" thing is actually called anti-aliasing, just for future reference.

You're right... I did it by mouse, but I didn't use image2brick.

did you try making the anti-aliasing effect using trans bricks? i love complicating things =3

Yes but I like to keep things simple. No need to add a few hundred bricks to the count...

No really. I built this by hand Mouse and keyboard. I don't even have image2brick!
