This is a huge hill I was working on today at my place of employment. This is more or less what I was thinking about every loving time I had to walk from the bottom to the top.

This hill was like the physical manifestation of hell.

Imagine that everything good, true, beautiful, fair, just, holy, happy, positive and wonderful in this world was being destroyed inside of you and you can imagine walking up this hill.

Imagine space and time warping around your perception of reality and exploding in a million pieces and you can imagine walking up this hill.

Imagine the emotional scarring of watching everyone you love being painfully killed in front of your eyes but turned into physical pain and concentrated into every strand of muscle fiber in your legs and you can imagine walking up this hill.

Imagine your consciousness being stretched out in a linear fashion between the rows of vines and your orientation in space being distorted by the sheer steepness of the hill and it is the largest effort in the world to place one foot in front of the other and each step you took caused what can almost only be described as physical and mental anguish.

And you can imagine what it would be like to walk up that hill. Repeatedly, I might add.

Okay, maybe it wasn't that bad. But it was bad.
