Darn.

I'm sorry, but these are not that good.
The 2nd one is good and the last one is ok.
Keep trying :)

Also, I saw "pictures I took last night" and thought :O

How to improve

1) Get a better camera
2) Take more interesting pictures.

I use the Canon Rebel XTi with a flash attachment.

Damn, well, then consider investing a tripod. Or dopamine.

Also, a cloudy night over a city is a terrible terrible choice of when to take pictures. It just ends up looking like washed out orange ass unless you have a really good camera, and even then it's pretty rough. Wait until the day or a really clear night, and even then the former is preferable for obvious reasons.

I was thinking of bringing my tripod tonight (I found it, go figure).

Did I mention this is my backyard :o?

Even a monopod would help tremendously.

I could see that helping me.  I'm usually shaky when holding a camera and Im sure everyone else is too.

Just sayin', rain makes the street look beautiful when either illuminated by the moon or a street light.. or even any other source. But I personally think street lights are beautiful.

dont pusillanimous individual out just because it's raining.
