Swords make it look cooler but any melee weapon is ok.

You could have used larger cubes to make the walls.  Could you show me a bit more and tell me its theme?

If you want it to look similar to that put some more detail to the walls and.. Pretty much everything.  Try to make a greyish color to this DM and you will be fine.  Hope this helps.

Floors would be easy to do with print bricks. Space bamboo? a bit moar tricky....
