Look the world is not gonna end! If it is going to end (Which it will eventually.) it would be way past the time we die. like 30 billion years from now. Something will happen on 2012 but the world may not end. We might find intelligent life on 2012 we might learn something big on 2012 we might get bombarded by an Unknown life form on 2012 or maybe nothing will happen. The possibilities are endless.

I have found a flaw to 2012, called timezones. So with that said if you really were afraid of 2012 you could take a jet loaded with fuel and hope to find a fueling station and travel through time zones untill you finally make it back to when it's after 2012 and be fine.

Around infact 5.4 Million years with no epic fail asteroids hitting us, low chance of survivng that long though on earth, since the sun will burn earth in 5.4 mill years, then whatever planets are next, mars, and so on, all the way to pluto :3
