Author Topic: Note-Finder Music Program?  (Read 931 times)

There are a few songs I'd like to learn the notes of, but they are from an OST and I can't find sheets anywhere. Is there any program that can take in a music file and find the notes of the song?

I know there are tools and machines that measure pitch, but I was wondering if I could just download a program to make it easier. Also, if possible, answer me these questions about the program:

To what level of complexity can the program record (i.e. it can record single notes at a time, but not 2 notes played at a time, or 2 beats)

Do I need a microphone?

I myself haven't found a program that will do that, but you could do it manually with solfege.

I.. Don't think that would be an easy thing to do with a program..
But there are probably alternatives.

which is?

I'll probably google it by the time you explain... but bump?

WIDI recognition, or something like that.
It isn't 100% accurate and it's not free.

I used to have a program like that. Gah. Sorry, lost it.
