Author Topic: The Portal 2 Thread: MAP EDITOR OUT  (Read 471063 times)

Just thought about how theres quite a few levels in Portal 2 with conveyor belts, would be nice to have those.

Yeah it would be cool if you could select what style you want to build your map in.  New Apeture, Old Apeture or Destroyed Apeture.

I was also hoping for the ability to make Co-Op levels.
(There was also a couple items I couldn't find but now I can't remember what they were or why I wanted them)
you can make coop levels

I wish the map editor could let you make clean aperture maps.

Isn't it like only possible to make those?

you can make coop levels
this
you have to use hammer though

also they plan on adding styles soon.

it'd be nice if you gave some actual loving criticism
don't get so angry about it
holy stuffe

i'm just saying it doesn't have the feel of portal 2's music any more to me :u

I don't like the ceiling and floor tiles, they have the stains on them.

But you can't play coop, trolololol.

I've been teaching myself hammer, but how do I get my walls to go around exit/entrance doors? (I can't seem to do it and I don't want to awkwardly clip around it and stuff.) This is one of my biggest problems.

Edit: I heard carving gets pretty stuffty and weird results when you use non-square shapes

Bump.

Also, am I the only person who thinks Aperture is a sadistic evil company? After all, they lock up test subjects and put them under live fire from turrets, and make them travel through things of asbestos. And with the way Chell was treated, I most certainly hope not all test subjects are treated that way.

It wasn't like that until GLaDOS.
