Well you just set an example for yourself as well. You clearly don't understand the fact that you're trying to tell others to be nice on the internet. That cause was far lost soon after the creation of internet. There's cyber bullies all over acting tough cuz the internet is one of their strengths when they are wussies in real life. And as for you trying to make peace is like fighting a crocodile witha toothpick.
The thing is that you're deliberately trying to start an argument here, and you're doing damn well.  Just leave.  Also, it's one thing to make something less tense and to make something nice.  I'm doing the former.

Since when does a certain time of the year provoke people to start trolling more or cyber bullying more? It makes no sense.

You're horrible at that.  What about artists and thinking for everyone else now?  Oh, by the way, you should take you own advice, "then don't post."
Alright, back on topic.  Colten, stop trying to be a tough guy.  stop with the "I like how it's dark, shady, and anonymous on the internet" bullstuff.  It's on a forum for an indie lego game.  I wouldn't expect such hostility towards a new member that may not be a sophisticated, or people with other views, ffs.
What

I wouldn't expect such hostility towards people with other views, ffs.

Oh, the irony.

DP: Looks like Marcem has logged off for the night. Must be getting pretty late in Simwhere.

I'm thinking that too.  But around this time, things get really tense around here.  I guess it's finals stress or something.  And let me reword that last sentence: I wouldn't expect that much hostility to new members and people with other views.  I get it for the inevitable religion thread or political thread.  But I really don't get it about really pointless and dumb things such as video game consoles and video games.  Right now, if you even joke about something that someone may like in a vaguely negative way, it turns into a flame war.  And yes, it's 2:36 AM here, so I better get to bed.

First off- Only a perfected human can evade an argument, because only a perfected human has the right opinions.
or a passive one...

or a passive one...
Or even an assertive one at most points on this forum.

The one thing that pisses me off is that I RARELY see a positive post, for example, this thread is opened up, and look at all the flamers...

-snip-
Well what do expect on a forum with off topic boards and lots of dumb/immature 8 to 12 year olds who will argue about how superior their gaming system is to others.

You obviously don't visit the forums enough to understand more how it works. There are plenty of nice posts. Check the gallery. And we aren't flaming were having a slight arguement/discussion.

RARELY
Then again, this is the Internet: full of trolls, tough guys, good guys, idiots, people trying to fit in, and guys with sense. You can't change that.

It's people like you that make being nice not work. Even if it's hopeless, you don't need to oppose it. You're only adding to the crocodile.
