Author Topic: Since when did being in a clan made you leet?  (Read 2983 times)

I'm sick and tired of this crap. More and more people have been acting leet because they are in a clan like ARES, NWB, or C. I've seen people going around saying "Oh let me join your team, I'm in [clan].", "I can build better than you because I'm in [clan].", or "Hey you need to respect me because I'm in [clan]." One of the many this has happened was with "rocket" from NWB. I was playing on Hellshero's Fort Wars (Yeah, this was a while ago) and rocket joins. I didn't pay much attention to him until he said something along the lines of...
"Hey [name], let me join your team. I can build a better base than that."
The guy responds with a no. Rocket responds with "I'm in NWB."
It makes me mad people can claim respect by being in a clan. >:C

I'm in ARES so that means I can stuffpost better than you.
I agree, but I've never really seen anyone do this that often.

I'm not sure he was saying he was leet. He was stating that he was a good builder and providing evidence.

Lol dude I said I was a good builder and the dude said "You dont have any proof" and I said I was in NWB which is proof some enough given the harsh requirements to join.

NO EDIT: Also that was like 4 months ago cool your jets.

I lead a clan for a while.  It's not that special.  Many members only actually stay active for short times.  Clans only mean something on the clan server where you might get special privileges for being in that clan.

Clans usually die out when people start leaving, causing less posts, unless it's a clan like ARES where 96% of comments is stuffposting, though I haven't seen anything like this, it's not something to be worked up about, the people here think they're better than anyone else because they have clans, sucessful clans either die out, or move on to the consoles.
