Island TDM - KOTH
In the future there is this island everyone wants for no apparent reason!


Idea
Bored, in school. Blah blah.


How it works
Each team has a carrier, each team has 4 classes to choose from.
Carriers have 2 AA guns, 1 bomber, 1 biplane and 1 GSF sea copter.




Classes
Every class has a parachute.

Sniper
"I bet you didn't even hear me shoot"

The sniper class is used to pick off larger threats from a distance, can be very effective if used stealthily.
Equipped with
  • Military Sniper
  • Pistol
  • Conc. Grenade X1

Assault
"Ratatatatatatatatata"

Large groups of assault players can make a deadly team, using the Naval SMG they can pack an accurate punch in defences.
Equipped with
  • Naval SMG
  • Pistol
  • Conc. Grenade X2

Grenadier
"We got 'splosions!"


He's a loving badass with a grenade launcher, what else is there to say
Equipped with
  • Grenade launcher X3
  • Pistol

Scout
"I'm not TF2 inspired!"

Running around in circles at the speed of loving light firing scattergun shells into everything is surely a way to forget up defences in a matter of seconds.
Equipped with
  • Scattergun
  • Classic Pistol
  • Conc. Grenade X1

Only if I have to, although I think it could use some work.

I'd like it if you removed the bomber and helicopter, and instead put one more biplane due to the actual timeline of technological advancement. AA turret needs a bit more work, as in platform stuff.

Print arrows should be removed, as they make a negative impact on the display, and if I am correct, doesn't need to be there since the island should be close by.

Carriers require boats. to travel to island

Sandbags need changing. Just using round corner bricks don't make it look like them. If you want to keep it like that, you should probably change to grey to represent concrete, or use stacked 2x2 round bricks.

Classes are okay, but for the Grenadier, you should put the TF2 Pipe launcher instead of three grenade launchers, and put two stick grenades.

Main capture point should LOOK like a "capture" point, and should look somewhat like a strategic point for some type of war, instead of having a "Here!" sign.

Island is very good, although, what's the brickcount of that itself?




OVERALL: 7/10 on general design/concept
                9/10 on building. I don't build very well, and this looks great.

The AA platforms are plain because of the brickcount

As of V15 the auto-draw distance put the island out of view for early playtesters.

I considered this, the LCVP is actually enabled at my server, but I'm thinking of a way to get them from the deck to the water.
