Author Topic: Hosting Problem :P  (Read 1252 times)

Hello.
In the past, I have been able to host.  So I hosted.

But in the last few days, nobody has been able to connect.  I checked the console, and it said ExternalIPAddress Failed.

Does anyone know whats going on?

at least you even could in the past :-(
I have, no idea.

Please don't reply unless you are helping.

Is this due to v15?

If it is, either Disable UPnP in the network tab of options
or set your port to 28000 instead of 28100
or both

Both didn't work.
It still show up as Ping: ---
And 0/8 players.

i feel that V15 did something to hosting because ive seen/ hapened to me alot of people that have this problem... we deffinately need a fix

Could it be a problem with the master server? It's been changed up a bit.

He said no one joins, idiot.

That's the point. The server appears "Dead".

Why does the master server have anything to do with that?

Because if you don't port forward, it runs off the master other than you're own.
It's like Roblox's system.

What the hell are you talking about?

I might be using the vocabulary wrong. I don't know much about networking. But if you no longer need to portforward, like in v14 and v15, then it has to involve a master server. Ever go into you're console when creating a server?

No, it asks your router to forward. I don't know how the master server could be a firewall between you and the internet.

You don't say. Well thanks for coming to the rescue. Oh, and do me a favor next time, and stop acting like a jerk when someone makes a mistake.
