Author Topic: New Engine?  (Read 12021 times)

An engine change? Sure, this version of Torque is hilariously outdated, but a full engine change? I see no reason to.

The latest Torque Engine is Torque3D(and, the only one you can buy as of now).

I would donate if I only didn't have to send another postcard with the money, I already did it for buying Blockland and I'm not going to spend another €5 on stamps to send them over the Ocean. -.-'

Your right. I'm a dumbass for thinking blockland should be on source.

It should be on Crytek of course.

I have a feeling that if Badspot ever did change the current engine to Torque 3D he wouldn't make us pay again, but raise the fee of Blockland (ex. $40, $30).

Version, not engine.

somebody must be mad that his parents didn't let him buy online

Can Badspot make a code for Radar in the engine?

What's wrong with you people? Blockland is perfect as it is, just a few bugs that need fixing here and there. Sounds like you people are trying to turn this into Garry's mod but with Blocks.

No, just a few additions would be nice.

If I want to play Garry's Mod, I will pay the $5 for it.

Eric has already made a huge profit.
$20 x 20,000 Users = $400,000

If you aren't going to read through 6 pages, don't post.

Heres a math problem for ya:

New Engine=(Update+Cost)+BL Users=Bad Bad Choice

It's not worth it, it just costs a lot and blockland is fine the way it is.

Just because it's "fine the way it is" doesn't mean it can't be made better.

Ok, try paying thousands of dollars for an new engine, then leading a group of 3-6 people to recode Blockland(or possibly solo), and release it to the public. How do you feel?
