Well, I have an ipod Touch second generation, and I was wondering if anyone has downloaded the new 4.0 firmware. I am asking this question because my iPod is jailbroken and I was wondering if It is worth losing the jailbreak to get the firmware...

Yay there's already a topic about this so I don't have to make one. I have a JB 3.1.3 and right now I'm trying to go from that to the iOS4 today. The only thing that I don't really like right now about the process is I have to save all pictures, songs, and videos to my itunes library and then resync them once the update's done. And with 30 or so Apps, 200 plus songs, and 140 pictures I have a feeling it's going to be a long night.

I've put that much on my iPod in about 15 minutes with a 4 year old computer.

Well I downloaded the iTunes to one of my flash drives and now my iPod is at the OS4 and I have the long task of re-downloading everything.

Since this is pretty much a topic on the OS4, they said that there's JavaScript in it. Now with that what does it really add to the iPod?

Ya. You can already jailbreak iOS 4 easily so it's not a huge deal.

Well I've got the iOS4 according to my iTunes but I"m confused about it. First of all with the multitasking it's not showing me anything like something under settings, the background is only working for the lockscreen, and I don't see a huge diffrence.

I lol'd that the antenna is on the metal siding of the phone. You have to invent a new way to hold the phone.

Also this is why I got a PocketPC. For APPZ.
