Behold forum, an attempt at a serious discussion:

Anybody here play any instruments? I play piano. I started when I was probably around 6 and learned some songs by heart but then got bored. When I was 13 I started up again and have been playing for probably just under a year in total.

*breaking wall of text*

I was taught finger movements at 6 and I taught myself how to read notes 13. I just recently learned left hand, so I still can't play complex parts on both hands at the same time. People tell me I'm good, but honestly, piano has to be the easiest instrument to play; you just press buttons, and I can guarantee that 3/4 of the people I know know how to play a song on piano.

That's why I want to learn another instrument, something more unique that not everyone can play. I tried guitar but am pretty much at rock bottom with that. I thought of doing a therimin or otamatone, but therimin seemed expensive and the otamatone didn't seem like a serious instrument. I plan to buy an ocarina soon and learn to play that, but I would like to advance in guitar.

Discuss instruments that you play

I learned to play this strange digital button table thing.

It was great but I did not know what it was called.

Yeah, I know what you're talking about.

Also, I want to know what song to learn next. Any suggestions? Not too hard please, and don't chose a classical song, I know a lot of those already and really don't want more.

Candy Mountain
Funx3 Dayo
Minami Theme
Gerudo Valley
TP Ordon Village
TP Midna's Lament/Desperate Hour
Lilium

I play the Alto Sax.
Cool instrument.

No such thing as a "Regular Sax"

The 4 most common from highest to lowest are:

Soprano Saxophone
Alto Saxophone
Tenor Saxophone
Baritone Saxophone

Top list = High / Small
Bottom list = Low / Big

I play guitar, its a lot of fun.

Started at 11 for the schoolyear, got bored of playing classical music.

Started again at 12, my new teacher is teaching me songs, chords, reading music, music theory, etc.

I have 3 guitars, but the original one is too small for me now.  D:

(Current Electric)
